What is Dr. Nowzaradan’s diet plan before surgery?

Dr. Younan Nowzaradan designed a very effective dietary plan for patients to drop weight before their surgery. This involves daily intake of between 800 to 1200 calories. The diet consists of only natural foods broken down into three meals.

It consists of high protein meals and foods low in fats and carbohydrates. The doctor suggests that healthy functioning individuals should eat about 35 grams of fats and fibers. These are usually acquired from sources like fish. Dr. Nowzaradan warns his patients to avoid any form of trans fats completely.

Do not consume Anything Under 1200 Calories.

The good doctor warns his patients against consuming meals under 1200 calories every day. This is due to the fact that you cannot get all the essential fibers and nutrients if you go under 1200 calories every day. To maintain a balanced diet, Dr. Nowzaradan encourages patients to maintain a 1200 calorie diet.
